Learning Technology

The Learning Technology Department supports and promotes the educational ecosystem through Canvas, our Learning Management System (LMS). This includes technologies for remote proctoring, video hosting, plagiarism detection, discussions, interactive instructional tools accessible within Canvas and technical assistance for all Polk State College students, faculty, and staff in the LMS. The LearnTech Labs are an extension of Learning Technology, which serve as a resource to faculty for facilitating innovation and technology adoption to enhance pedagogy and promote best practices in all course delivery models.
