Polk State Theatre presented “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” April 11-14 and 18-21 at the Polk State Winter Haven Fine Arts Theatre.

Directed by Professor Mark Hartfield, the classic musical comedy was inspired by the farces of the ancient Roman playwright Plautus.  It opened on Broadway in 1962 and closed after 964 performances.
