Apply now for Polk State’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

The application for Polk State College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program is open September 1 through September 30 for the 2023-2024 Academic Year.

Prior to applying, prospective applicants should review the How to Apply information and note that they must be admitted to Polk State College and complete observation hour requirements before applying for the limited-access OTA Program. Veterans of the U.S. Military may also benefit from two reserved seats within the program and should email veterans@polk.edu for assistance with the veteran application.

Polk State OTA will host informational sessions for individuals interested in the program. Sessions will take place:

  • Thursday, September 7, at 11 a.m. | Winter Haven Campus, WRH 100
  • Friday, September 15, at 11 a.m. | Zoom, CLICK HERE
  • The first Thursday of every month at 11 a.m. | Zoom, CLICK HERE

Polk State’s OTA Program boasts a 95% pass rate on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Exam, exceeding state and national averages and illustrating the rigor and quality of the program. More details including a link to the application are available on the OTA webpage.
