Polk State College celebrated Black History Month with the Promoting Unity in Our Community luncheon on the Lakeland Campus and the Homecoming Tailgate Celebration on the Winter Haven Campus, as well as events throughout February curated by Polk State’s Office of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion; Student Activities & Leadership Office (SALO); Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program; and Foundation.
