Chain of Lakes Collegiate Student Shines at Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Event

Polk State Chain of Lakes student Abby Hughes, a resident of Winter Haven, was recently elected vice president of finance at the State Conference for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), which took place in Orlando March 4-7.  Hughes also competed in the Chapter Service Display category at the event, earning Gold status, which qualifies her to compete at the National FCCLA Conference planned for Orlando in July.
