Commencement Ceremony

Polk State held its  111th commencement ceremony Dec. 11 at The Lakeland Center. The ceremony featured a keynote address by Fred J. Bohde, the first Polk State College graduate. He also received the College’s Distinguished Alumnus Award. With 1,335 students qualifying to march, the ceremony ranked among the largest in the College’s 50-year history.
