Financial aid still available for Polk State students

The start of the Fall 2024 Semester is now less than three weeks away for Polk State College students.

Looking for more good news?

It’s not too late to apply for financial aid for the 2024-25 Academic Year.

Students who have not done so yet are encouraged to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The form can be found here.

Recently, changes were made to FAFSA that are intended to streamline the application process, expand eligibility for federal student aid, and reduce barriers for some student populations. In April, the College created a page to update students on the latest changes and new resources available.

Federal student aid, which includes Pell Grants, student loans, and the Federal Work-Study Program, is available to Polk State students and prospective students with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

State and institutional financial aid funds are also available by using the FAFSA. Information about how to apply can be found here. Polk State’s FAFSA school code is 001514.
