Governor issues statewide safer-at-home order, Polk State College’s remote operations continue

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued a statewide safer-at-home order Wednesday afternoon that will take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2020, and expire on Thursday, April 30, 2020, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Polk State College’s remote services and online classes remain unaffected. The College is awaiting additional details and will provide updates on www.polk.edu and social media.
