Network outage scheduled for June 1

Polk State College will be making upgrades to its network system on Saturday, June 1, starting at 5 p.m. The process will take approximately four hours and impact internet and phone service at the College’s campuses and centers.
Passport, the primary database for all student academic and financial accounts, will also be down during the upgrade. The outage will affect individuals applying to the College, registering for classes, and accessing degree audits and financial account information.
Canvas, the College’s learning management system, student and employee email accounts, and the polk.edu website will not be impacted.
