ORIGINAL POST AUGUST AUGUST 18, 5:11 P.M.
A required software update that was pushed to the Polk Portal by the software developer on Wednesday, August 14, created an unforeseen service outage and resulted in errors in student financial aid and billing accounts. Polk State has been working with the vendor to resolve this significant issue. As such, the vendor will need to temporarily take down access to the Polk Portal on Sunday, August 18, from 6 – 7 p.m. to make corrections. The College will post updates and will notify students when the Polk Portal is back online.
The College will be postponing the drop for non-payment date which was originally scheduled for August 21. More information regarding the new date will be forthcoming.
The College appreciates students’ patience during this process.
