Jason Charros will be performing at the Polk State JD Alexander Center on Oct. 8.

Polk State Lake Wales will host trumpeter Jason Charos for a performance at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the Polk State JD Alexander Center, 152 E. Central Ave. in Lake Wales.

The event is free to the public.

Charos plays covers by jazz legends such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and Dizzy Gillespie just to name a few.

The Charos concert is part of the Polk State Lake Wales Arts Center’s Downtown Concert Series and Arts Incubator Series, both of which have brought a wide variety of musicians, actors, and visual artists to the area.
