Polk State Occupational Therapy Assistant application opens September 1

The Polk State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program’s application for general admission will be open from 9 a.m. on September 1 through September 30 for the 2022-2023 Academic Year.

Prior to the application period, prospective applicants should review the How to Apply information and note that they must be admitted to Polk State College and complete observation hour requirements before applying for the limited-access OTA Program. Veterans of the U.S. Military may also benefit from two reserved seats within the program and should email veterans@polk.edu for assistance with the veteran application.

Polk State’s OTA Program boasts a 100% pass rate on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Exam, exceeding state and national averages and illustrating the rigor and quality of the program. More details including a link to the application are available on the OTA webpage.
