Students can access unofficial transcripts in Polk Portal, order official transcripts in Passport

Posted on by Polk Newsroom

Polk State College students seeking their unofficial transcripts can access them in the Polk Portal. However, students who need their official transcripts (i.e. for proof of education for a job or continuing education) need to make a transcript request in Passport as the College continues its transition from Passport to the Polk Portal. It is estimated that the official transcript function will be live in the Polk Portal by the end of January.

To access an unofficial transcript, students can log in to the Polk Portal and click on the “Unofficial Transcript” card. If a student does not see the “Unofficial Transcript” card on their dashboard, they can scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Discover More” to reveal all available cards.

Next, click on “View Unofficial Transcript.” Under “Transcript Level” select ALL LEVELS. Under “Transcript Type” select UNOFFICIAL WEB TRANSCRIPT. This will show a student’s complete transcript including enrollment for the Spring 2025 Semester, coursework completed in the Fall 2024 Semester and prior, as well as any transfer work.

  • It is important to note that this web-accessible transcript is not an official transcript and should not be used to fulfill any requests for official transcripts. Students seeking their official transcripts need to request them in Passport. Students should log in to Passport and click on “Official Transcript” under the Quick Links section, which will take them to the ordering system to complete their request.
